The Men’s 100m at the 2025 Jerome Classic is stacked with international firepower and sub-10-second potential. Marcellus Moore leads the field after clocking a blistering 9.96 this season – placing him among the top sprinters in the world. A former dual-sport athlete at Purdue University, Moore played wide receiver before transferring to the University of Texas to focus solely on sprinting.

He’ll be challenged by Joseph Amoah, a Ghanaian sprint star who specializes in both the 100m and 200m. Amoah is also the defending 2024 Jerome Classic champion, making him a major contender for a repeat performance.

Canada’s Malachi Murray, who made his Olympic debut in Paris, returns to the Jerome Classic after representing the country at the 2022 Commonwealth Games and serving as a relay alternate at the 2022 and 2023 World Championships. Fellow Canadian Eliezer Adjibi also lines up alongside him, bringing additional national energy to the track.

Rounding out the field is Usheoritse Itsekiri, a two-time Olympian for Nigeria, known for his explosive starts and consistency on the big stage.

With Olympic experience, national titles, and world-class times in the mix, the 100m dash at Swangard is shaping up to be one of the most thrilling events of the night.

Be there on July 15, 2025 at Swangard Stadium. Watch the Men’s 100m race at 4:55pm. See schedule.
