Nouveaut\u00e9 en 2025, l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement se tiendra au stade Swangard de Burnaby dans le cadre de la Classique Jerome, la plus ancienne comp\u00e9tition d’athl\u00e9tisme au Canada, qui remonte \u00e0 1964. C’est l’occasion pour les jeunes de concourir sur la m\u00eame piste que des athl\u00e8tes de calibre mondial avant la Classique Jerome. La Classique J\u00e9r\u00f4me fait \u00e9galement partie de la Tourn\u00e9e nationale d’athl\u00e9tisme d’Athl\u00e9tisme Canada<\/strong>, une s\u00e9rie de dix comp\u00e9titions d’athl\u00e9tisme en plein air de haute performance \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle nationale. Cette tourn\u00e9e aide \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper les athl\u00e8tes pour une future repr\u00e9sentation au sein de l’\u00e9quipe nationale et \u00e0 qualifier les athl\u00e8tes d’\u00e9lite pour les Jeux olympiques de Paris en 2024. La rencontre offre des opportunit\u00e9s de comp\u00e9tition significatives pour les athl\u00e8tes au pays, ce qui permet aux athl\u00e8tes canadiens d’obtenir de pr\u00e9cieux points au classement mondial. Le Jerome Classic est \u00e9galement un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de niveau argent sur le circuit continental de l’athl\u00e9tisme mondial<\/strong>. Cela signifie que certaines \u00e9preuves recevront des points de placement de niveau C pour le classement mondial des athl\u00e8tes.<\/p>\n
